-a five year old-
The Adventures of Frank and Mustard: Stuck in the Mud by Simon Calcavecchia is a delight story of friends who help each other. The best part of the tale, or should I say 'tail', is when they are not able to solve the problem themselves they seek out other to help. Only when all everyone works together can they get Frank out of the mud. This lesson through a story that all our children can learn through the example of Frank and his friends. With bullying of those who are different or differently abled this story stands out to teach that despite who we are and how we get from here to there we are all in this together and need to help each other.
My four year old Grandson loved the book. We had to read it over and over.
My two year old son is obsessed with this book! He loves the bright, colorful illustrations and is so concerned about Frank being stuck in the mud every time we read it. It's definitely one of his go-to books for bedtime and nap time...we look forward to seeing what other adventures Frank and Mustard get up to in the future!
Frank and Mustard will be part of this special event. I will be telling my story and be sharing my book at 7 pm. Log on to Facebook for more details: https://www.facebook.com/events/990979494371801/
Looking forward to another awesome day in Silverdale!
This photo was taken by a friend visiting my local library. It is a huge honor be thought of part of this group. It is one of the reasons I wanted to create a children’s book. We must celebrate diversity in order to accept those that are different! #DifferentlyAwesome
We will be there from 11 am until 5 pm. We have some new products for sale including a brand new music cd. Come stop by and say hello!
